On May 6th, 2023, Chicago Police Officer Aréanah Preston was shot and killed near her residence. Officer Preston was in uniform at the time and was returning home from her shift. Officer Preston found great beauty in sunflowers. As a tribute to her life, the sunflower is incorporated into the design of the memorial tee.
In collaboration with the Chicago FOP Lodge 7, a memorial tee has been created in honor of Officer Preston. Proceeds from the sale of each tee will be donated to the Preston family.
