Chicago Police Department Officer Krystal Rivera was tragically shot and killed on June 5th, 2025, while actively pursuing a suspicious subject. Her partners immediately provided care for her, and rushed her to the hospital, where medical personnel worked valiantly to save her. Sadly, Officer Rivera succumbed to her injuries.
Officer Rivera, 36 years of age, and a mother to a young daughter, was a 4 year veteran of the Chicago Police Department, and a member of the 6th District Tactical Team. Her peers praised her work ethic. Prior to this tragic incident, Officer Rivera had already removed two guns from the community on the evening of her passing.
Proceeds from the sale of this Hero Tee™ fundraiser will be donated to Officer Rivera's young daughter. To date, the Patriot Provisions Foundation has donated over $120,000 in direct support of Chicago Police Department officers and their families.
